Wealth Builder's Blue Print

One of the things that has made me so wealthy, is my committment to consistent study of empowering materials. When I got started in business, I was fortunate enough to get started with a personal development company; exposing me to empowering information that enabled me to tap into my true potential.

At the time, the only thing I knew about personal development was how to read. I was reading empowering books and gaining alot of knowledge, but really had no idea or commitment as to how to apply it. I was getting smarter by the minute but I definetly wasn't getting richer.

Then I found LLI and the Beyond Freedom Program. It tought me how to practically apply personal development tools and techniques to get real results in my life. It's been incredible - so much so that we've shared it with many of our friends and family and have watched them get remarkable results in so many areas of their lives. For more about Beyond Freedom click here.

I was listening to Donald Trump's Wealth Builder's BluePrint
today and something struck me. In it he talks about focus and the dedication that he has given to building his enterprise. It's no wonder he's a success. This is a great program and has served as a reminder of some of the key elements I've learned from LLI - how to be focused, how to develop and maintain a mindset of success and how to develop my entrepreneurial mind - unleashing my creativity. I love learning from people who have achieved extraordinary wealth - a path I am on. Donald Trump is one of my favorite people. His passion and zest for success is inspiring and he is a phenomenal leader.

Liberty League International taught me to study successful people and emulate them. My mentors here taught me how to take these people off of the pedestal most people put them on so that I could relate to them and see myself on the same level, with the same capabilities and potential. It also helped me to model their "beingness", follow their actions and, most importantly, model their decision making abilities. It's made me wealthy in so many ways...wealthy beyond my wildest dreams.

Remember...everyone has this potential, it's simply your choice to realize and express it.

Viva Las Vegas!

I just returned from Las Vegas where John and I hosted a one day training event for about 400 of our team members. It was fabulous. I'm not in the event planning business, that is for sure...but this event was spectacular.

What struck me most was the energy, momentum and power that comes from having 400 excited people who are all moving forward in their life come together to support each other in success. The people who attended were simply amazing. The diversity of the crowd struck me too - there were people in their early 20's all the way to people in their 70's and 80's. All different backgrounds, ethnicities, shapes and sizes...it was wonderful. What everyone had in common was a desire to create greatness in their life and the willingness to learn and grow.

Which brings me to Las Vegas. I can absolutely say I dont' like Vegas. I'm not a gambler, I don't smoke and if it weren't for the shows, I probably would never go there. It's a place of desperation...people blindly hoping to win a jackpot, sucking down some pollution and wasting precious time. I watched some of them... like drones just hitting the button on the slots over and over and over again.

Wake up! is what I say. Everyone is filled with such incredible potential. Instead of "hoping" to win a jackpot, you could create your own. You could live a fulfilled life of greatness, job and prosperity. It's simply a choice.

Anyways, this was a great weekend, spending time with other self-made millionaires, inspiring millionaires and people who are committed to experiencing life to the fullest instead of watching it pass by at a slot machine.

Little Differences

How fitting. I decide to start an acknowledgement journal, recognizing each day the little wins and today I get this inspirational message from Bob Proctor:

"We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee."

Acknowledging Your Success

Today I had to opportunity to spend time with some great friends of mine. These friends are mentors that I hold dear...they have served as a guiding light on the path to success and have assisted me in facing myself to create my life as it is now. I honor who they are and the journey they have endured to their success. It's been an honor having them as partners in my success!

During our visit, we were reminiscing about the journey we have been on together for the last 4 years. While we talked, I realized how often I acknowledge the journey I have been on; often looking back at how things were and how things are now. But, what I often miss are the right here, right now wins. The little things that add up to big things. The daily acknowledgements of my success. It's easy to focus on what isn't right, what isn't working, what people aren't doing or what I'm not getting...it's like a TV re-run; a program that just keeps repeating itself. To consciously choose to focus on the wins in a new habit I'm committed to developing.

Acknowledging ourselves for the day to day wins that move us forward is so critical to our achievements. Afterall, success begets success. The more successful we feel the more successful we become the more successful we are to others inspiring their success as well. It's builds confidence and allows us to see how powerful we are in our own lives. It's WIN/WIN.

Now comes the follow-through! So, here is my idea. I am going to keep an acknowledgement journal. Each day I will write in it my win for the day. At night I'll acknowledge my win before going to bed (always wonderful to focus on success before resting) and in the morning I'll wake to it. I'm excited to see the results that manifest in my life as a result of instilling this habit.

Would you like to join me in the journey? This will be a blast! Once a week, I'll create a blog entry sharing one of my successes and we can all share in each other's wins. It could be something in business, home, health, family, etc. Anything that is a success in your day. Simply click on the "Comment" button and submit your win for the week.

Fulfilling Expectations

2007 is already proving itself to be a remarkable year! I started this year off with my first venture into real estate investing and it's going great.

A couple of things about real estate. First, it's WAY harder than my current home-based business. My LLI business is very simple...place some ads, call people back, show them the information and collect the checks. Easy. With real estate, there's so much to know, so much to do, a ton of coordinating, lots of risk and it requires people to really love it.

So, why am I even endeavoring into real estate? The reality is at 32 I've generated millions of dollars and had lots of fun. I've travelled all over the world - first class, bought the cars I wanted (Bentleys, Masaratis, Range Rovers, Lexus....), live in a gorgeous multi-million dollar home and have all the goodies I could possible want. Now it's time to put my money to work...to build a massive fortune for myself.

If someone asked me to describe myself, I'd say I'm a "doer". I focus my eyes on something and then go full out after it. So, I decided real estate was going to be an avenue for me to duplicate my wealth and leverage the income that flows in from my LLI business. I've made over a million in my personal real estate holdings, now it's time to duplicate that in investments.

So, my I closed on my first property on December 29th. It was a great deal. The woman needed out so her priority was time, I wanted price which she conceeded to and we went from offer to close in 2 weeks...quite remarkable! That is the power of intention. I've owned the property for one week, have it fully furnished and already have it rented to vacationers for the months of February and March.

Lots of people have warned me about real estate. Some people told me that vacation rentals are hard to do...you have to find customers, deal with them, etc. etc. My mortgage broker - Karen Fisher with Nova Financial - told me it's a great way to make money on real estate. I followed her advice and my real estate mentors advice and proceeded forward. I placed two online ads, created a website www.luxurytucsonrentals.com and put a flyer in my gym. The flyer produced one renter and the online ad produced the other...simple as that.

It's all in intention. I think many people fail in real estate because they don't have the intention of winning. They aren't coachable, they listen to the wrong people and they let fear get the best of them. I'm winning with it because I did exactly the opposite...I moved forward through the fear, sought council with experienced people and am staying coachable.

Through this whole experience it has given me incredible gratitude for LLI. Just a couple of hours a day has produced incredible income. Doing this real estate deal was hard work...I haven't worked this hard in years!
