Wow! Have 4 weeks passed already?

Wow! How time flies when you're having fun! I can't believe I haven't written in my blog in 4 weeks. Sorry guys! I have missed writing!

Life has been fantastic. And, what a journey! Upon returning from UPW in Atlanta my business went through the roof. It seems everyone's looking for a business to start and my phone has been ringing off the hook. I'm more grateful than ever that my chosen path is to help people free themselves through the vehicle Liberty League offers. And...watching people create wealth, personal freedom and a life without limits through the LLI system...that's empowering! Thank you Brent & Shane...you truly are visionaries! I came back to four Beyond Freedom customers today and a Liberty order, $9000 is nice after 6 days completely unplugged! That's leverage for you...

So, here's some updates. The launch of Unified Wealth Solutions with the 7 Figure Alliance (Gene, Wendy, Tony, John and I) went far better than we even anticipated! And, the feedback we have been getting has been STELLAR!!! Members of UWS have seen double and triple sales in their personal businesses because of the powerful marketing tools...to say we are THRILLED would be an understatement. I'm honored to be part of such a creative and powerful mastermind. Gene, Wendy, Tony and John are incredible leaders...that combined with our top secret super powerful web developer Bryan and who knows what's going to happen...the Microsoft of web marketing????

I just returned back from another Tony Robbins event. Yes, I know it seems like I'm a TR junky...but it just isn't so:). I'm really a ME junkie...always on the path with improving myself and stepping it up to the next level. Hey...if you're not growing, you know what that means... Just look at a flower once it's cut from the stop...it may look beautiful for a few days but ultimately it begins the descend. So, remember, always keep the juices flowing!

So, I spent 6 days at Date with Destiny in Scottsdale and it was UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME! The ENERGY was THROUGH THE ROOF! And, the information I gained was truly transformational. What made it so? Well, first the TR team really knows how to keep the energy up so everyone is in a PEAK STATE. Physiology is soooooo important. Actually, more than important...ESSENTIAL! Second, at this event we were divided into teams and my team was just INCREDIBLE! Actually, the were MORE than INCREDIBLE! Being part of the right environment makes all the difference.

And, I had THE BEST buddy on earth. Her name is Dawn and she is a power house and just the sweetest person on Earth...not to mention beautiful. We had so much in common it was a little freaky! That's her to the left with her husband Anthony (taken with my iPhone I must add). Watching couples go through the Date with Destiny program was inspiring. Can you believe she has four kids...she looks like she's 23! I got to witness Dawn and Anthony transform their relationship and reconnect at this event, which was so inspiring. And, she was so support of me getting 100% of what I came for.

Then, there was the education. One thing I'll say about Tony Robbins, besides the fact that he is charasmatic, sweet, powerful and energized, is he has a unique way of moving past people's bullshit to the core of the issue. I watched as he got people to get in touch with their true nature...the nature they were born with. He led us to move past all the nonsense to define our true destiny. And, realize our full potential.

Here's the mission statement I developed for myself at the event. I feel so passionate about it

I, Shannon Lavenia, see, hear, feel and KNOW that my purpose in life is the BE the JOYFUL EXPRESSION of ABUNDANCE, LOVE, and POTENTIAL to myself and others. YEAH BABY!

While the event was an emotional journey, witnessing the transformation of others and myself, being in the intensive environment was definetely a pattern break, allowing me to step into my future powerfully, with clear intentions and values and a powerful group of people standing besides me in a whole new way.

While I was up in Scottsdale, I visited the house John and I are building in Firerock Country Club in Fountain Hills. Today, I was the most excited I've been in the whole process! It's starting to really come together now...tile, canterra stone columns and they started putting the kitchen cabinets in...it's really feeling like home and I just can't wait until we close. And, as you know, the law of attraction always works wonders...we had a great showing on our current home today with a serious buyer! Yeah....

I wanted to share a couple of pics with you. I hope you enjoy!

As you know, I love personal growth and development. I love holding myself to a new standard. I can't wait to see many of you in Miami at the Liberty League 2008 Kick Off Event and of course in Italy at the Summit Conference where we get to be transformed again!

Remember, life was meant to be LIVED WITH PASSION AND INTENTION. And, TONS OF UNLEASHED, MAXIMUM ENERGY FUN!

The Power of Leverage

I have to say I love being a part of a business where $50,000 weeks are commonplace!

When I used to work a J.O.B, I was constantly trading my time for money...work an hour, make money for an hour. That's what most people do!

In fact, John and I were having a great conversation to day about "discount cards". You know...the cards you get from just about every store that you bring in to get special discounts or coupons.

Well, John went to Hallmark to get me a card (he's such a sweetheart) and the cashier was pressuring him to get the Hallmark discount card. She was so annoying about it, he finally gave in. And, then, as he was about to leave, she was telling him about all the coupons.

All this to get 10 cents off a $3.00 card. When John shared the story with me, I thought, she probably was so intent because that $3.00 seems expensive to someone making $7.00/hour. Think about it...she has to work almost 1 hour (after taxes) to make enough to buy the card.

And, if she wants to make more, she'll have to work more hours, maybe work some overtime, etc.

She doesn't understand the concept of leverage...benefitting from the efforts of others so the discount cards suddenly become absolutely meaningless in life!

The only way to true wealth is leverage.

So, how does someone achieve $50K in a week? It certainly isn't from trading time for money, it's from using leveraged systems...systems that employ duplication and allow you to leverage your time with others efforts and experience.

ABSOLUTELY $&#^$&#* INCREDIBLE!

I spent the last few days at Anthony Robbins Live Event Unleash the Power Within.

There are no words I could possibly use to describe it. Anthony Robbins is an amazing man...tireless energy, incredible passion, laser focus, total intention. The event was 4 days and I never wanted to leave the room. The power of the experience was sooooo impactful, the only thing I can say is if your SERIOUS about stepping your life up to the next level, ITS TIME FOR YOU TO SEE ANTHONY ROBBINS LIVE...or at least get a book or CD serious of his to start.

Now, I could sit here spewing about the ENERGY, the PHENOMENAL NETWORKING, the AMAZING PEOPLE, the POWERFUL EDUCATION....all of it. But what it all boils down to is RESULTS. And, ALREADY I'M SEEING THEM. I have the most powerful conversations in my business, people are calling me from everywhere looking to get started, and...I feel amazing!

I just read in an article that 1% of our society (about 3 million people) currently has as much money as the 100 million people who make up the 99%. Do you get that? 3 million people are worth as much in net worth as the other 100 million people. Why is that? Did they have more opportunity? Better education? More time? NO NO NO. A few of them may have had certain priviledges, but the reality is the MADE A DECISION TO BE IN THE TOP 1%. I did! I was raised in the lowest of the 100 million and DECIDED enough was enough...I was going to make it happen, be focused and move forward confidently!

It's simply a CHOICE!

The Millionaire Show

Loving Life

I just got back from a fabulous week in Cancun, Mexico. Hanging out with other like-minded successful people is incredible empowering.

In Cancun, I met an extraordinary gentleman. His name is Shawn Achore. A Harvard Professor, Shawn studies the Psychology of Happiness. Now, I must admit. When I met Shawn, I expected him to be layered in tweed, smoking a pipe with his nose up. But, he was quite the opposite. Smiling, young, happy, magnetic and very, very cute!

Shawn's message was simply...happiness is a fundamental choice. It's an outlook on life that is critical to success.

This is something I've always known...a smile goes far in life. Smile and people smile back. Give and people give back. Help and people help back. It's the universal law of reciprocation...that which you put out comes back to you tenfold.

And now...they are studying it at Harvard.

It's wasn't surprising to find out that most of the professors at Harvard aren't necessarily open to studying happiness...or the effect of happiness. How do you actually quantify it?

In real world results. In income, in joy, in fulfillment. And, what they are finding is you have to choose happiness first. Things don't make a person happy, but being happy brings you things like money, great relationships, toys, etc. It's the Be,Do,Have principle that great men like Wallace D. Wattles, Napolean Hill, Steven Covey...all talk about.

So, I'm grateful that I'm naturally happy. Even when adversity strikes, I choose to find the light it in...the lesson, the value. That has brought me great success in my life and will continue to.

Make Each Day Count

I recently had the honor of meeting an extraordinary gentleman: Joe Miller.

Joe got started in my business at the age of 73. He got started with one of my associates, Joey, who is 21.

Joe and Marty Miller have been married for 50 years, have 2 sons and a lifetimeof love and memories together.

The business I have amazes me everyday. The diversity of people we attract is incredible. Just think about it: Joey is 21...just starting his life as an entrepreneur. He placed an ad in a newspaper and reached out to Marty and Joe, 73. Joe has had a lifetime of business experience, a lifetime of fun and adventures.

The connection between Joe and Joey was great from the first moment...so much so that they met for dinner in Joe's hometown of Prescott. Joe called me the next day to thank me for staying the course with LLI, because if I hadn't he said, he never would have found it. Joe and Joey both have a passion for living life to the fullest...to enjoying the adventure of life and fulfilling their potential.

I absolutely love my business. I've seen so many other business opportunities...but there's something so unique about LLI. It's the foundation of the business: people. It's the community of people assisting each other, it's the products that give people hope and transformation...enabling them to finally get the results in their life they desire. In my business, people authentically connect and touch each other's lives. They develop relationships and friendships that last lifetimes. This is a business of passion for passionate people who are committed to living life to the fullest. For 5 years, I've led the way and have been honored to do so everyday.

Joe Miller passed away this week. Marty shared with me that a few days before he passed he said to her, "I feel like a million bucks because of this business". Because we were here...passed the torch, lit the way and gave a helping hand, Joe Miller died with passion in his heart, with enthusiasm and a bright spirit. Marty said he was so happy in his last few days that it has been an honor to be a part of our team. His sudden and unexpected passing was softened by the knowing that he felt fulfilled and inspired in the moments before he left us.

I share this because everyday counts and what you do with time is what matters most. Yes, the money I make is fabulous...I admit I love luxury and luxurious things.
But what really lights me up is knowing that I've made a difference in the lives of many. Knowing that I've lit the way for people to transform their lives and live lives that are inspired and fulfilled. Knowing that each day I choose what I do with the time I've been gifted with and knowing that for the last 5 years I've spent almost everyday with my husband, enjoying who he is.

The moral of the story is I'm no different than you or Joe or Joey or anyone else. We all have the ability to choose the life we live.

And, this is available for anyone. To feel as though you've made a difference in the lives of your friends, your family, your community, your world. To enjoy the time you've been granted and live it to the fullest. It begins with a choice to choose a better life for yourself first and to inspire others by your actions and who you are being.

Joe Miller touched my life. Through our conversations, I realized that life is 100% what you create of it. At 73 he had more spirit than most 20 year olds I know. It gave me a vision for my future of living life to the fullest up until the last moment. And like everyone else, he didn't know how much time he had. People take time for granted and it's the most precious asset we have in the moment.

Today is the day. Enjoy it, live it, appreciate it.

World Traveler

John and I spent three weeks this summer journeying through Tahiti, Australia and New Zealand. We had the time of our life! We did everything from dance at a black tie gala, to caravan up the coast and explore with no set destination, snowboarded in NZ, stayed at the super posh Treetops resort and so much more. This Guy is Amazing!

Have you heard of Larry Winget?

He's the host of The Big Spender on A&E.

What an incredible guy! And funny too. I got to spend some time with him in Las Vegas at a Training Event...he was absolutely terrific. He's one of the those
people you meet who just say it as it is, no sugar coating, just the truth; plain and up-front. He got me thinking about the actions in my life that I have taken to produce the results I have, AND the actions I have taken that didn't. Action really is the defining line between getting results and not getting results.

You can watch the video I did about him here:

People Who Change the World: Bill Phillips

People often ask me what the key to my success in life has been.

It's simply been connecting with successful people and choosing to have them as my mentors.

I have many mentors in my life (most don't know they are), including Donald Trump, Oprah Winfrey, John Maxwell, Robert Kiyosaki, Anne Frank, and many others.

One of my mentors is a guy who has truly transformed the world; Bill Phillips.

I'm sure you've heard of him, the author of Body for Life and Eating for Life, his passion for helping people achieve health and balance is extraordinary.

In 1996, my grandfather, who was my best friend, passed away. Of all I had suffered through as a child, as an adult, I was devastated. I sunk into a deep depression and gained a significant amount of weight...over 100 pounds.

As I began to emerge from my depression, I came across Bill's book, Body for Life. I picked it up, bought it and used it. It was simple and practical. I ordered the transformational movie he produced, Body of Work. I watched it everyday for 2 months straight....and I still watch it.

After 90 days of working through Body for Life I took off 35 pounds. The second time another 30+. Finally, I was in great shape and feeling awesome.

Not only has Bill Phillips been a mentor to me for physical fitness, but also a demonstration of the law of reciprocation. That if I create value for other people, they will create value for me. He's inspired me to pursue my passion of becoming a talk-show host, creating a show on transformation to inspire people from all walks to realize their true potential.

Recently, I endured a terrible back injury. For almost 2 years I was unable to exercise or I was in rehabilitation. To make a long story short, I gained almost 30 pounds and my muscle mass went down significantly. I started Body for Life again on Sunday and am videotaping my progression...in case you are wondering, High Defintion video shows EVERYTHING...scary!

At the end of 90days I plan to create a video to share with people so they can see a real person getting real results. If we all use our own stories and set powerful goals, we can inspire people to realize they are unstoppable and can achieve anything they want in life.

I've had the honor of meeting Bill and being featured in his video. If you haven't seen his website, go to www.BillPhillips.com. He's on an international tour...do whatever you have to do to attend. I promise you it will be worth it. Simply by following his advice, connecting with is passion, I have seen remarkable results in my own life.

Bill truly is an example of what can happen in your life when you follow your passion, give to others and believe in people.

Recommended Reading For Inspiring Leadership

My buddy John Anderson send me this artile By DANA MATTIOLI...it's a great guide for individuals looking to empower themselves.

"Overcoming obstacles and keeping on track are nearly always part of starting a successful business. Drawing inspiration from great leaders can help a company founder stay focused and persevere, says Nitzan Shaer, an entrepreneur-in-residence with IDG Ventures Boston, a venture-capital fund with $280 million under management focused on health-care and information technology.

"Sometimes entrepreneurs have to take a leap of faith. Without inspiration, that's very hard to do," he says. Mr. Shaer, 34, managed the mobile-phone group at the Internet-telephony network Skype, now owned by eBay Inc., and worked in Microsoft Corp.'s mobile division.
As an entrepreneur-in-residence, Mr. Shaer is identifying businesses for his fund to invest in and plans to join one eventually. IDG Ventures Boston is one of five funds of IDG Ventures, a unit of International Data Group, a technology media, events and research company. Below, he recommends books, movies and a Web site that have helped inspire him.

"Long Walk to Freedom," by Nelson Mandela

This is an incredible story of how you hold onto your set of beliefs through a hostile environment. Mandela describes how he held onto hope and inspiration and adapted to the times, seeing the potential in human beings to elevate themselves. An entrepreneur may pass through trying times, and it's very easy to lose sight of the final goal, and the people who are with you. Holding both of those near and dear is critical for any entrepreneur.

"The Lessons of History," by Will Durant and Ariel Durant

The Durants take you through a journey of lessons learned from humanity over the past 5,000 years. It gives an entrepreneur a perspective on time, belief in human ingenuity and the ability to overcome challenges, no matter how big they are. There were always civilizations that could pick up from the rubble, move forward, inspire others and create change when the times seemed dire.

"The Innovator's Dilemma: The Revolutionary Book That Will Change the Way You Do Business," by Clayton M. Christensen

This book describes the fundamental tools needed for a start-up company to overcome an incumbent with deep resources. It talks about how large companies are many times paralyzed when it comes adapting to and dealing with disruptive technologies and disruptive products. The most important thing for an entrepreneur to learn from this book is how to plot a course to overcome competition from within much larger organizations.

"Crossing the Chasm: Marketing and Selling High-Tech Products to Mainstream Customers," by Geoffrey A. Moore

This book is about identifying how to scale the adoption of a small-company product into the mass market. Geoffrey describes the challenges that face the gap between early adopters and mass-market adoption and how to overcome those challenges.

"The Last Lion: Winston Spencer Churchill: Alone: 1932-1940," by William Manchester

This biography takes us through the difficult times between the two World Wars and how Mr. Churchill held onto his beliefs, grounded in the information and insights that he had collected about where the world was headed and the extent of the threat emerging in Nazi Germany. The most inspiring part is about holding onto your convictions and not succumbing to the common views of the time.

"Shackleton's Way: Leadership Lessons from the Great Antarctic Explorer," by Margot Morrell and Stephanie Capparell [Ms. Capparell is an editor at The Wall Street Journal, publisher of this Web site]

This is a tale of endurance and how people overcome unparalleled challenges. The story is about being shipwrecked in the Antarctic at the turn of the 20th century and how leadership inspires others to go far beyond where they would otherwise think they could reach. Someone who is starting a business should understand the traits needed to lead other people to leverage resources that are not necessarily under his or her control.

"Mao's Last Dancer," by Li Cunxin

This book is about a young Chinese boy who grew up in rural China and became one of the prima ballerinas in Chinese and world ballet. He later becomes an investment banker in Australia. No matter where you come from, the opportunity is yours to achieve through hard work.

TechCrunch
TechCrunch is a blog that has up-to-date information about recent developments with tech companies, specifically start-ups, and the inside scoop. It's a must-have for technology entrepreneurs to be current on the most recent developments.

"Apollo 13"

This movie tells the story of the life-threatening challenge that the team of astronauts faced and how a large team of creative people work together to solve what seems to be an impossible mission. It encourages entrepreneurs to think outside of the box and may inspire them to not give up on problems that seem impossible.

"An Inconvenient Truth"

The ability of one man to tell a story about the threat of global warming in an extremely compelling way and to help create a world-wide movement was very inspiring. It may instill the importance of social consciousness in entrepreneurs. "

Great Article by T.Harv Eker

I came across this article and I thought it was great! So many people get discouraged when they are faced with adversity. Many people even give up. But, the adversity is part of the natural growing process that leads to success.

T.Harv Eker is the author of The Millionaire Mind: Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth. I've gotten huge results from his book and his message.

Zig-Zag Your Way to Success
By T.Harv Eker

Although we'd prefer everything go perfectly straight from beginning to end, our journey to success seldom turns out that way.

In fact the "straight" route is completely unnatural. Did you know there are no perfectly straight lines in the universe? Everything is energy. Energy travels in waves. Therefore "straight" doesn't even exist. Yet, notice how when things go a little off course, most people get frustrated, get down, and want to give up.

So why do we get upset when things don't go the way we'd like them to go? Because we have an "expectation" that is virtually impossible to meet.

The simple truth is that the journey to success is full of twists, turns, ups, downs, stops and reverses. By fully understanding this fact, you can now begin or continue your journey knowing that you, like everyone else on this planet, will have to "zig zag" your way to success!

The beauty of this knowledge is that you won't be deluded into having unrealistic expectations of the "straight line to the top" syndrome. Without these expectations chances are you won't get as upset or even give up, when things aren't going your way, because you know being off track is normal and therefore "perfect".

A good example of what I'm talking about is man's mission to the moon in 1969. During that extraordinarily successful flight do you know how often the spacecraft was actually "on course"? Believe it or not, it was straight on path only 3 percent of the time. That means it spent 97 percent of the time, "off course"! That also means it spent the majority of its time, "correcting".

The same holds true for the journey to success. Expect to spend a large amount of your time, "correcting".

This is why "perfectionists" have a difficult time being highly successful. Perfectionism is a form of fear. It is usually based in the fear of failure or the fear of disapproval. In either case, perfectionism often leads to paralysis. Perfectionists are scared to death of making mistakes and therefore either avoid taking action or are painfully slow.

The truth is, most people are afraid to make mistakes. It's no wonder, since many of us grew up being embarrassed or "punished" for our mistakes. Yet if you want to succeed, you must be willing to accept mistakes and inefficiencies as part of the journey.

I'm sure you've heard of Babe Ruth. He was known as the home run king of baseball. What many people don't know, however, is that he was also the "strike out" king!

Mistakes are our natural way of learning. They are the "feedback" we need for correction.

Let me share with you the Ultimate Success Formula:

TAKE ACTION, GET THE FEEDBACK, LEARN, MAKE THE CORRECTION, TAKE MORE ACTION, ETC. Repeat this process again and again until you reach your goal.

As long as you continue this cycle, and NEVER GIVE UP, in the long run, can you see how it is it virtually impossible to fail?

This month adopt the attitude that correction is natural and focus on continuously acting and correcting until you get to wherever you want to go.

The secret to success is to "zig zag" your way to the top. The secret to happiness is to smile along the way.

DAILY DECLARATIONS:

Correction is natural.

Mistakes are how I learn.

I expect a winding road.

I never give up.

I zig zag my way to success.

Times have CERTAINLY changed

OK...so I'm not one to follow politics. When I go to a party and someone's talking politics, I dodge the conversation or change it.

In fact...I avoid politics at all costs.

The last time I voted, it was for Al Gore simply beccause I didn't want Bush in office...well, we all know how well that worked.

This year, I've been watching. Not the traditional political debates or the CNN commentaries, or the TV commercials candidates spend billions on (when they would be creating jobs, feeding the poor or investing in research of alternative energy sources)...no rather, I've been watching You Tube and a hilarious show a friend of mine turned me on to, the Daily Show.

I'm not a fan of TV but the Daily Show is just tooooo funny!

Have you seen the political videos on You Tube? They are absolutely HILARIOUS! But, beyond the humor, they've done something remarkable: I actually know the names of the presidential candidates. Yes...I know the names of all of them. That in itself is a miracle.

So, here I am. I'm educated, successful, opinionated and....I don't even take part in the evolution of the future of the US???? Why???? One conclusion: I feel it's hopeless and I have no part. I put my effort and attention forth to things I know I can directly impact and see a result from. Or, maybe it's because I'm just too comfortable enjoying life in America as I know it.

Well congratulations to whatever BRILLIANT masterminds are behind the Daily Show and YouTube...through humor, you got me. You got me interested in the future of the country, in what is going on, in what I can do about it, in who's doing what (if I can even sort through most of the BS that's just fear driven, vote-for-me because I'm better nonsense). Come on...can we get someone in office who really cares for someone besides himself/herself? Can we get a Congress that actually shows up and does something? That would be nice.

So, while the videos aren't all that classy, nor do they let in on anything the candidates stand for, they do serve a purpose of bringing forth awareness and curiosity about the election. This is a whole new way of doing things...times certainly have changed.

When I was in New Zealand, I found this billboard on a bridge absolutely hilarious. We pulled over to get a picture. Here I am all the way across the world and other countries are making fun of our president. In Australia, people hate him...that's practically all people wanted to talk about. In my opinion, that is not a way to build world relations.

Here's a couple of vidoes for you to enjoy! They keep cracking me up.

Cutting Off Your Customers

Wow, Donald Trump had on his blog this morning an article about Sprint/Nextel cutting off customers who were a nuisance...people who called customer service over and over with complaints.

Check out the blog post here:http://www.trumpuniversity.com/blog/index.cfm?blogpost_id=1212&commentmadep=true

What a bold approach and article! In my business, I choose who I work with and have often times turned customers and clients away. Why? Because I know the amount of effort it will take to "deal" with them is not worth the profit I might make. In addition, as you say Mr. Trump, some people will never be happy. I'm sure Sprint/Nextel wasn't the only company they were burdening. If we looked into it, I'm sure we would find a pattern. The source is their own internal lack of joy, purpose or accomplishment. Sometimes, it's simply an over-extended sense of self-entitlement. And sometimes, its greed...people will want "freebies" or refunds and expect to get them many times over simply by complaining.

I've watched this in restaurants. People complain about the silliest things with their meals to get a discount, a free drink or a free meal. My rule is if I don't like it, I'll pay for it and order another. Free food reminds me of the days when I lived in my car!

Anyways, it's a never ending battle and Sprint is right to turn them away. If the people would put forth so much energy towards something constructive, they'd create a life they enjoy, get some gratitude and wouldn't waste their life away complaining.

However, this does not give companies the right to not perform as they have agreed to or to produce as promised within their contractual agreements. Customer service is still a major factor in any companies success, but at the end of the day, if you discover there is no way you're going to make them happy in the first place, dump them.

Powerful from Robert Kiosaki

Network Marketing-It's an Asset, Not a Job
By Robert Kiyosaki
I am sometimes asked, "Why do so few people makeit to the top of their network marketing system?"

The truth is, the top of the network marketing system is open to everyone-unlike traditional corporate systems, which allow only one person to reach the top of the company. The reason most people do not reach the top is simply because they quit too soon.

So why would someone quit short of the top? Most people join only to make money. If they don't make money in the first few months or years, they become discouraged and quit (and then often bad-mouth the industry!). Others quit and go looking for a company with a better compensation plan.

But joining to make a few quick dollars is not the reason to get into the business.

The Two Essential Reasons to Join a Network Marketing Business:

Reason number one is to help yourself.
Reason number two is to help others.

If you join for only one of these two reasons, then the system will not work for you. Reason number one, means that you come to the business primarily to change quadrants-to change from the E (Employee) or the S (Self-employed) quadrant to the B (Business owner) or I (Investor) quadrant. This change is normally very difficult for most people because of money. The true E or S quadrant person will not work unless it is for money. This is also what causes people to not reach the top of the network marketing system: they want money more than they want to change quadrants.

A B quadrant or I quadrant person will also work for money, but in a different way. The B quadrant person works to build or create an asset-in this case, a business system. The I quadrant person invests in the asset or the system. The beauty of most network marketing systems is that you do not really make much money unless you help others leave the E and S quadrants and succeed in the B and I quadrants. If you focus on helping others make this shift, then you will be successful in the business.

As a B or an I, sometimes you don't get paid for years; this,a true E quadrant or S quadrant person will not do. It's not part of their core values. Risk and delayed gratification disturb them emotionally.

Delayed Gratification and Emotional Intelligence: One of the beauties of network marketing is that it focuses on developing your emotional intelligence as well as your business skills.

Emotional intelligence is an entirely different matter from academic intelligence. In general, someone with high emotional intelligence will often do better than someone with high academic intelligence but low emotional intelligence. That explains, in part, why some people do well in school but not so well in the real world. The ability to delay gratification is a sign of higher emotional intelligence. In a recent study of emotional intelligence, it was found that people who could delay gratification often led more successful lives than those who could not. This is why the educational system inherent in a good network marketing opportunity is so important. It's the emotional education or emotional intelligence aspect of their programs that I find so valuable for people.

Many people write me and tell me they loved my book, Rich Dad, Poor Dad, but I fear that many of them don't get the most important point of the book: Lesson #1, "The rich don't work for money."

Once I have built or bought an asset, that asset works hard to make money for me. But I will not work for money-I will work only to build or buy assets. Those assets make me richer and richer, while I work less and less. That is what the rich do. The poor and middle class work hard for money, and then buy liabilities instead of investing in assets.

What Kind of Asset is a Network Marketing Business? Remember, there are two reasons required to be successful in network marketing: to help yourself, and to help others. Reason number one means helping yourself get to the B side of the quadrant.

What about reason number two? The beauty of most network marketing systems is that you don't really make much money unless you help others leave the E and S quadrants and succeed in the B and I quadrants. If you focus on helping others make this shift, then you will be successful in the business, If you only want to teach yourself to be a B quadrant and I quadrant person, then a true network marketing system won't work for you. You may as well go to a traditional business school, which focuses only on your becoming a B quadrant person.

The beauty of a network marketing business is that your goal is to create assets, which are other B's working under you-and their job is to create other B's working under them. In traditional business, the focus is for the B to have only E's and S's working for them.

The type of business I was taught to build is a business with me at the top and E's and S's at the base. I really don't have room at the top for many other B's, which is why in my businesses, I strongly recommend that all my employees look into network marketing as their own part-time businesses. The traditional corporate system really is a pyramid, because there are a few B's and I's near the top, and more E's and S's at the base.

A network marketing system is a reverse pyramid: its primary focus is to bring up more and more B's to the top. One type of pyramid, the traditional type, has its base on the ground; the other type has its base in the air. It's a pyramid that pulls you up instead of pushing you down.A network marketing business gives everyone access to what used to be the domain only of the rich.

Adventure of a Lifetime!

John and I just returned from our three week adventure in Tahiti, Australia and New Zealand.
We had an incredible time!

We started in Sydney, Australia for LLI's Summit Conference, which was awesome. You can read more below about that. When the conference concluded we rented a campervan (as suggested by our buddies Rhonda and Brian Swan) and drove up the cost from Sydney to Brisbane.
I must admit, the idea of 5 days in a small van when I live in over 5,000 sq.ft was a bit daunting, but we had a blast. I even cooked several times! It gave John and I time to be close and to think about when we used to live in a tiny apartment. We stopped at Budgewoi and then went up to South West Rocks. Rocks is a stunning place. We went for a stroll and happened upon some of the most beautiful beach I've ever seen...it was SPECTACULAR! We hung out on the beach and enjoyed the beautiful sunny weather.

We then drove up to Byron Bay. What a cool and hip beach community the Bay is! We stayed at a camp site filled with surfers and beach goers. It was another relaxing day in the sun. John and I relaxed and talked about our goals for the future, sharing with each other our homes, dreams and gratitude for such an incredible lifestyle

We drove up to Brisbane, spent the night and flew out early in the morning to Auckland. We loved Auckland! Although it was rainy, it was tons of fun, with great dining and people. And then we were off to Rotorua. We stayed at an amazing place called Treetops (http://www.treetops.co.nz/). If you go to NZ, this is a must visit. High in the Rotorua rainforest, it's a luxury lodge with amazing staff and a cozy, loving atmosphere. The main lodge is 100% over-the-top luxur. We met great people from the U.S. and New Zealand and a travel agent from Russia.

At treetops we spent the day exploring the rainforest and with horseback riding with an amazing guy. His name is Diddy, a local legend of a horse whisperer who is 79 years old. He was a hoot!

The next day we wandered into Galatea to visit our first ever New Zealand Summit Advisor Delwyn McKenzie. She lives on a beautiful farm that backs up to the state park. While we were there we got to pet her llamas and they even showed me how to milk a cow! Delwyn, and her husband Cliff, are amazing. They are the epitome of entrepreneurs and risk takers and it has paid off tremendously.

We spent the night in Rotorua city...it stunk. Literally. It's right on a volcanic fault with sulfuric steam vents. Smelled like rotton eggs. We couldn't figure out why it was such a tourist attraction. We were happy to leave. We flew down to the South Island into Chrischurch and then over to Methven and Mt. Hutt. We spent the day snowboarding on Mt. Hutt. Can you believe it? We actually went snowboarding in July! It was great snow too!

We enjoyed a wonderful scenic drive through the incredible south island down to Queenstown, a hopping city in the mountains. The drive was breathtaking: rolling farmlands, snow-capped mountains, lush greenery.

Queenstown is a blast. We went snowboarding three days at Coronet - great snow, great people and great adventure! The city of Queenstown has tons to do and is mosly for tourists and locals. There were great shops and restaurants.

One of my favorite things was taking a small charter plane to Milford Sound through the spectacular Southern Alps. It was breathtakingly beautiful. We enjoyed seeing where parts of The Lord of the Rings were filmed and exploring the Fiordlands. We took a cruise through Milford Sound and got to see spectacular waterfalls and seals sunning on the rocks.

This trip was more than I ever could have imagined. Adventurous, educational, motivational, inspirational and tons of fun, fun, fun! Every minute was exciting and we got to enjoy the company of so many great people.
I'm so greatful to Liberty League International for providing a vehicle that gives me freedom. Freedom to grow and evolve. Freedom financially. Freedom to operate my business from wherever I may be. It's about living life to the fullest and enjoying every minute of the experience!

Facing My Fears

So, a few days ago, I walked on fire.

I must admit I was petrified at the idea...I had an entire story running in my mind. A mental film, of which I was the star. In this mental movie, I stepped onto the hot coals with hundreds of people looking on and the smell of burning flesh began to permeate the air. I ran screaming across the coals and looked down at my crispy feet...swollen, blistered and in pain. I then spent the next few days on crutches as my wounded feet healed. Worse, because I had the experience, hundreds of others bailed on the opportunity to walk through the coals.

Thank God it was only a mental movie!!! Isn't it amazing how we create these grand dramas to prevent us from moving forward in life. I know of hundreds of people who have created movies like this in their head about starting a business...except they allowed the movie to stop them from moving forward.

Walking across the coals was simply, liberating and extremely exciting! It was awesome to erase the movie and create a new movie...one of achievement and excellence. That's how simple it is...we all get to choose the movie we create. It can be one of fear and drama, or it can be an Oscar winning movie of achievement and outrageous success. Yes, the heroine or hero will inevitably have some great adversities and obstacles to overcome, but it is out of this that great accomplishments are born.

When I walked through the fire, I was the second person to go. Talk about a leap of faith. When I face fears, I face them head on. I'd rather jump in and do it than sit in the fear. People were cheering and waiting for me with hugs of joy. I'm proud to be an example of success for people to follow.

Then I got to watch John go...he was a pro!

It's been quite an adventure!

Good Day Mate
Hello from Australia!

The Summit Conference Australia has been incredible...the Best Summit Conference LLI has ever hosted. The energy, community and presentation were explosive!!

As promised by Brent and Shane, the ALL NEW Summit Conference blew everyone away.

The adventures started with a private dinner hosted on a harbor cruiseline for the EMC. Brent and Shane presented the EMC with our own Harbor Fireworks display...millions of people looked on wondering what the festivities were all about. We certainly let Australia know we arrived with a big bang!!

From the Welcome Celebration to the BlackTie, this event was absolutely extraordinary! Bob Proctor was amazing as he instructed each of us how to unleash our true potential and excel in our lives and businesses. He gave a powerful presentation with specific instruction on how to move beyond fear and doubt, to achieve extraordinary levels of success.

On Wednesday, we faced our fears as we walked across the red hot coals in the Australia hillside. This was the most incredible event; watching a community of people, who recently were just strangers, empowered and supporting each other to excel. These were associates from all over the world; London, Paris, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United States, and many more, all converging together in a moment of achievement and excellence...cheering each other on as we walked across the coals; facing and moving through our fears, into our futures! Not one person backed out...the support and enthusiastic encouragement assisted everyone in moving past their limitations to achieve success. The high-fives, jumping hugs and bellowing laughs of joy and excitement were incredible to watch!

After two intense days of conference, we enjoyed a wonderful day exploring Sydney with some teammates, assimmilating and discussing all we learned and how we will use this information in our lives. We took a Sydney Harbor Cruise to Taronga Zoo and experienced our first opera at the Sydney Opera House...it was Fantastic!

We closed out the event with Lynn McTaggert, author of the Intention Experiment. She provided concrete, scientific evidence on the Power of Intention and how to use Intention to achieve remarkable results in life. Following, we celebrated the event with the Farewell Gala...everyone looked so amazing. It was a party of prosperity, joy and celebration.
As we move from the energy of this event, into the "real world", "What now?". I've learned from past events, that I'm so full of energy and power coming out the event, it's important to put it to immediate use. The impact of this event will be evident in the application of the knowledge and skills we gained...knowledge less than 1% of society actually possesses. What an incredible gift to move powerfully forward with the new-found understanding and education we possess.

In moving forward, I'm setting HUGE goals (private plan, talk show syndicated by the end of 2008, $3million home, $1million vacation property in Breckenridge and the formation of the Lavenia Foundation for Charitable Works) and now possess incredible strategies to achieve them quickly and efficiently; with new focus and clarity. The value of learning one-on-one from people who have achieved incredible success in their lives is priceless!
Now...John and I are journeying up the coast of Australia in a caravan(this in itself is an experience...keep tuned to learn more). We are having a fantastic time, enjoying every minute of our freedom.

Another Adventure of a Lifetime!

John and I are off on another adventure. This time we're spending three-weeks travelling through Australia and New Zealand.

Yesterday, we stopped over in Tahiti...it was beautiful! We went from 107 in Tucson to 80's in LA to 80's in Tahiti with 100% humidity. We walked under the moon along the cool beach front, enjoyed a wonderful dinner and Polynesian dance who. Here's a pic John snapped of me.

We're in Sydney, Australia now. Here's a pic from our hotel. We're right on the water with a great view of the Harbor, Opera House and Bridge. We're off to do the Bridge Walk in a few minutes.

The Sad State of People

I got an interesting email from a girl today who was sharing with me why she no longer is pursuing her business...

It was very revealing as to the state of our society...a society that is comprised of people who don't believe in their own potential, lack desire to success and are without the fortitude of the great men and women who have been awesome examples of persistence, belief and passion!

People have so much unrealized potential...it's time to tap into it!

I wanted to share an excerpt from the email and my response...

Dear Shannon

Please remove me from this list. I tried out the system last fall, untill my brother Leigh pointed out to me that 80% of those who start don't earn any money, while 20 % earn loads. That whole 80 % lose or stand still. The so called "winners," are standing on the shoulders of the losses and gullibility, or desperation of others. I can't live with that, can you? ...

My response:
Dear M,

It's unfortunate you allowed your brother to convince you that you would be part of the 80%. Look around, most people are broke, fat and lazy.

It's their choice.

When I got started with this system, I was broke, fat and lazy.

I plugged into system, followed the leadershp and DECIDED I wouldn't settle anymore. I became part of the 20% because I was determined to win...just like Oprah Winfrey, Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Howard Hughes and all the other people born into poverty who DECIDE to make a life for themselves and be the living example of success and accomplishment, REGARDLESS of all the poeple who "warn" them out of so-called "good intentions".

The awesome news. In our society only 3% of people ever make it to an income of over $100K. With our system, it's over 20%...try that on for size!!! That's the power of our system!

Sorry you worry about people failing...I don't. It's their choice. The system works. Works for me, works for lots of people on my team.

It would be a sad day when I don't show people an opportunity that can give them freedom and allow them to unleash their incredible potential, that works and has worked for thousands...because I don't believe in them or their potential! I BELIEVE in people and I know, without doubt, anyone can have success here if they truly want it.

Do people fail? Absolutely! I show them how they can win...to actually win is up to them. However...80% of people quit b/c someone convinced them they couldn't win. That's how weak our society is.

Your brother must being living an awesome, successful life for you to believe in him so much you let him steal your opportunity of being part of the 20% who wins in life. And...you gave up your opportunity to make a difference; to be the example of success and leadership.

Next time you use a computer, remember...Bill Gates decided he wouldn't be a loser and so our society now has all this great technology.

Thank you Bill Gates. I'm sure Bill's friends, brother, neighbor, the guy in the supermarket...they probably all told him how many people fail when they start a company....so many people probably told him he didn't have a chance without a college degree...so many people, I'm sure, tried to convince him he'd never get rich with those "computer thingies...".

What about all the people who dream of making it to the Olympics...they spend hundreds of thousands on travel, training, tools, education, etc...a very small percentage of them ever make it. The coaches and trainers charge thousands for coaching and they know only a very small percentage have a chance. Should they not offer the coaching because they believe the kids are going to fail??? So, should we start telling kids..."no way little Johnny, don't even dream about it. Don't think you could ever do it because 99.99% of people who try won't ever make it. Save your money, your energy and your time because, according to the statistics...YOU DON'T HAVE A CHANCE!".

What a hopeless world that would be!

My next goal in life...to be a talk show host. Yes, less than .003 percent of people ever make it on TV but I'm going for it. Thank you Oprah for being the example and for not believing in all the feeble minded people who tried to convince you that you weren't as powerful as you are! Thank you to LLI and all the leaders here for showing me I didn't have to stay broke, fat and miserable, for believing in MY potential even though others chose to fail. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I'll let you know when my show is on.
Make it a great day,

Shannon

PS: I have happily removed you from my list.

It's this kind of victim"ness" that has created our society to be one of defeat, blame and litigation...people want to blame others. Our society lacks true leadership....people are looking around at other people failing and they are saying, "oh...I'll settle for failure too" so I can fit in and be "normal".

That's a bunch of BUNK....Living a life of wealth, freedom and empowerment is simply a decision and I'm glad I made it.

If people only knew that I spent the first 18 years of my life mentally, sexually, physically abused...my single mother was murdered, yes MURDERED with her boyfriend when I was 7, I was homeless, abandoned, neglected, left to sleep alone in cars, broke and beaten...and this is the PG version of my life!

NO EXCUSES

Successful people are in the habit...

I received this in an email today from Bob Proctor.

Several years ago I was brought face to face with the very disturbing realization that I was trying to supervise and direct the efforts of a large number of people who were trying to achieve success, without knowing myself what the secret of success really was. And that, naturally, brought me face to face with the further realization that regardless of what other knowledge I might have brought to my job, I was definitely lacking in the most important knowledge of all.

Of course, like most of us, I had been brought up on the popular belief that the secret of success is hard work, but I had seen so many people work hard without succeeding and so many people succeed without working hard that I had become convinced that hard work was not the real secret, even though in most cases it might be one of the requirements.
And so I set out on a voyage of discovery which carried me through biographies and autobiographies and all sorts of dissertations on success and the lives of successful people until I finally reached the point at which I realized that the secret I was trying to discover lay not only in what people did, but also in what made them do it.

I realized further that the secret for which I was searching must not only apply to every definition of success, but since it must apply to everyone to whom it was offered, it must also apply to everyone who had ever been successful. In short, I was looking for the common denominator of success. And, because that is exactly what I was looking for, that is exactly what I found.

But this common denominator of success is so big, so powerful, and so vitally important to your future and mine that I'm not going to make a speech about it. I'm just going to "lay it on the line" in words of one syllable, so simple that anybody can understand them.

The common denominator of success - the secret of success of every person who has ever been successful - lies in the fact that "THEY FORMED THE HABIT OF DOING THINGS THAT FAILURES DON'T LIKE TO DO."

It's just as true as it sounds and it's just as simple as it seems. You can hold it up to the light, you can put it to the acid test, and you can kick it around until it's worn out, but when you are all through with it, it will still be the common denominator of success, whether we like it or not.

It will still explain why people have gone into a business or profession with every apparent qualification for success and have been nothing but disappointing failures, while others have achieved outstanding success in spite of many obvious handicaps. And since it will also explain your future, it would seem to be a mighty good idea for you to use it in determining just what sort of future you are going to have. In other words, let's take this big, all-embracing secret and boil it down to fit you.

If the secret of success lies in forming the habit of doing things that failures don't like to do, let's start the boiling-down process by determining what are the things that failures don't like to do. The things that "failures" don't like to do are the things that you and I and other human beings, including successful people, naturally don't like to do. In other words, we've got to realize right from the start that success is something which is achieved by the minority of people...and is therefore "unnatural" and not to be achieved by following our natural likes and dislikes nor by being guided by our natural preferences and prejudices.

It's Sad but True

The middle class is dwindling.

The rich are getting richer.
The poor are getting poorer.
Why is that?

Well speaking as someone who used to be poor, I believe it's because I was duped into believing college and a job was the way to riches.

Right? My blue collar family convinced me of that.

We'll I got the degree...busted my butt working all the time to get it and ended up even more broke with college loans.
Finally, I realized it. If I was going to be rich, it would be as an entrepreneur....using my God given abilities to unleash my maximum potential.

How? With the RIGHT education...education that works, that is applicable and is tested and true.

Not words spewed out by professors who are also broke; but education formulated by people who know how to use the power of their mind, who have real results...proven results! People are were willing to show me how to do it.

I just had to prove I was eager, driven and willing to learn. That I was serious and coachable.

And I was. I applied it, shed my old conditioning...the conditioning laid on me by other broke people telling me how to live my life. I shed it, followed what successful people did and the results are self-evident.

It's a choice.

And...it's happening in our society. The rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer and it's time to make a decision: Who will you be?

A Life of Excited Anticipation

You know the feeling you get on Christmas morning right before you are about to open the presents?

Or the excitement you experience as you're days away from an exciting trip?

The anticipation of something great days before your birthday?

The moment you proposed or were proposed too?

You know what I'm talking about, the jump-up-and-down, smile from ear to ear, dance around the room excited anticipation?

It dawned on me today...that's my life!

I'm heading to Australia in a few weeks...another trip of a lifetime. Last year it was Africa, Cancun, Canada, Colorado...

Now, it's Australia and New Zealand. In a few weeks I'll be soaring down a New Zealand mountain on my snowboard...when it's 110 in Tucson, I'll be boarding down a beautiful mountain on the other side of the Earth.

And I've got a smile ear to ear and have been dancing around my house like a little kid!

When I worked as a teacher, I was numb to life. I was deliberately numb because my life sucked and facing it would have just put me into a permanent state of depression...so instead I went numb. And one day I looked in the mirror and asked myself, "What the hell are you doing?"

Life is short...let's face it. The clock is ticking and every year it ticks faster and faster so it was time to make a change. A drastic, life changing, live evolving change.

And, I took a chance and jumped into the life I wanted as an entrepreneur.

That was an entirely different type of anticipation...nervous, pee your pants, sweaty palms anticipation. But I worked through it and I'm glad I did.

I love my life...now, I live each day with excited anticipation for the adventure my life IS.

I adore my husband...he's absolutely awesome. We just celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary...we've been together 10 years. I love spending time with him. When I worked for someone else, I never got too. And when we did have time together, we only talked about being broke. We had dreams but everyday our dreams were becoming more distant.

I'm grateful my husband found this opportunity and openned my eyes to it. I'll forever be grateful. Because now I get to honor the kid inside of me...I get to live a life of excited anticipation. I get to create the adventure of my life and what a great adventure it is!

So, how does this apply to the Millionaire Mastermind. Understand, Millionaire's choose to create the income they do for one reason and one reason only: FREEDOM. Money = Opportunity. Money = Choices. That's the bottom line. Without it, you're limited, with it, your free. And it's a choice.

People always tell me I've been lucky. Yes, I have. But it's because I chose luck. You know, I was broke when I found this opportunity, It would have been EASY to say, "I'm too broke to make a change". Rather, I said, "I'm broke, I'm going to make a change"...whatever it takes.

That's right WHATEVER IT TAKES. If Don Trump came to me and said you have to travel around Tucson and pick up Dog Poop for the next 2 years and at the end of 2 years you'll have 10 million in the bank...I would do it! I wouldn't say, "oh it's something I have to feel good about or something I have to like...I can make myself like anything, I can talk myself into loving picking up dog poop and I'll tell you...I'd be the best dog poop picker upper you ever saw. The reality, "Successful people are in the habit of doing the things that Magazine articles would be written about my dog poop collection skill! Why? Because I know there is a price to pay and I'm willing to pay it. More than that, I'm eager to pay it and I love every minute of it.

Why? because the $10 million translates to adventure, freedom, fun and opportunity. The income gives me choices. And, the duty itself is an adventure! I'd rather live a life of choice and opportunity than fear and limitation anyday and I'll continue to do whatever it takes to make it happen.

The payoff: Waking up every morning with excited anticipation! You know the smile a little kid has when they've just gotten that cool new toy? That's the smile I wake up with everyday!

A Day at Work

John and I often hang out in each other's offices throughout the day...there just a few steps from our bedroom and a few steps from each others.

I snapped this picture of him with Munchkie and Lucy today as they played on the couch in my 'office'...

I love working for myself...I love working from home. I'm glad I made the decision to create my life as it is today.

It's moments like this that have me reflect on what I settled for when I worked a job. My husband is so fun and amazing...I settled for never seeing him.

Now, I get to spend time with him and my dogs everyday...enjoy each moment and each experience. Relaxed, present and just having fun!

Time for Fun!

One of the things I love most about working from home is the freedom!

When I worked a job, someone told me when I had to be at work, how long I had to stay, what I had to do...I was even told when I could go to the bathroom - can you imagine??? Yep, that's what I endured.

I am sooooo happy I stepped out of my comfort zone of that "work for a paycheck" way of being and into my own business. Life today, looks nothing like what it used to do.

Today, John and I decided we wanted to play air hockey. Since we don't have one in our home...actually we don't have room for one, can you believe that? 5300 sq feet and we don't have a spot for an air hockey table! I actually suggested we get rid of the dining room set and put one there...John wasn't hot on the idea.

So, we got in the Bentley and went to lunch. We went to Montana Avenue...gosh it was fabulous. Everyone else was in shirts,ties,dresses...all the business people there. Stressed out, rushed, acting all serious abou their 'very important' business conversations...that used to be us. We'll we sat there in our summer wear, relaxed and enjoyed ever single bite of our lunch and it was yummy. Laughing and just having a great time. You know, I love the fact that I have lunch with my husband every single day!

Then we drove down the street to the arcade. You know the type of place...they have go carts, batting cages, arcade games, mini golf. We walked right in and there were busses of kids there (apparently this is a cool 8th grade graduation trip). Everyone looked at us like, "What are these THESE people doing here"? We were the ONLY adults there who weren't employees or teachers. Can you believe that...we couldn't find even one parent there just having fun with their kids.

How sad...

Needless to say we had a blast. We played 5 games of air hockey and then wandered over to the driving games...the ones with the steering wheels and crazy street racing cars. That was a blast.

And all of this in the middle of the afternoon...just because we can! That's freedom.

And, if you think the looks we got when we walked into the place were intense...you should have seen the looks when we walked out and got in our Bentley!!!

I guess it is strange to most people...adults, having fun in the afternoon, driving a $190,000 car.

But...it's simply a choice.

The Power of Masterminding

I know I've said it before...there's nothing more powerful than masterminding with people who are moving in the same direction; people who share a vision.

On Saturday, we hosted a 1 day training for our team in Atlanta. The Extreme Team Leadership Invitational had about 400 attendees and it was an incredibly powerful day.

What made it powerful? What made it incredible?

This day was the formulation of the vision of many leaders, all coming together sharing their ideas and supporting each other in the fulfillment of their individual visions. The energy was explosive, the information has already produced hundreds of thousands in income, and each person...because of their committment, belief and excitement, presented as though their natural home on this planet is a stage.

One of our guests has been to hundreds of seminars...he said this was the most impactful and moving training he had ever been too.

And none of the speakers were paid even a cent to give of their time...they did it out of service. Genuine generosity of time, spirt and knowledge for the benefit of everyone.

When we arrived in Atlanta (which by the way is a fantastic city), we were met with smiling faces, eager associates ready to learn, ready to capitalize on what we had to share with them.

Because the audience was filled with trusting, open team members, they knew we were giving them the best we had. There were no secrets being hidden...no information reserved...it was all laid out, all given to everyone who was eager to learn.

So powerful.

It never would have happened if not for the collaboration amongst leaders. The open and authentic communication that takes place when you connect with like-minded people who are moving together towards a common destination...success, wealth, freedom and happiness.

Thank you to everyone who had a part in contributing to my vision...and expanded it to be more than I ever even imagined possible.

$350,000 for Lunch?

So what lunch on Earth could possibly be worth $350,000.

We're not talking about lunch for 1000 people, we're talking about lunch for 2 people. A quiet session of intimate chat, masterminding and open discussion.

Could any lunch be worth $350,000?

You bet! Think about it. What price would you be willing to pay to sit down for one hour with a billionaire who could potentially give you an insight, tip or nugget worth potentially millions?

$350,000? I sure would. That's the price that Bob Parson's bid on a lunch with Donald Trump that was auctioned off at the 13th Annual Fight Night in Phoenix. This is an annual fundraiser hosted by Muhammed Ali for the Muhammed Ali Parkinson's Center.
My friend had an inside ticket and attended this year. She was surrounded by amazing people - Muhammed Ali, Don Trump, Bob Parsons, Billy Crystal, pro athletes...people at the top of their game in business and sports. Powerful people. In our conversation, my friend shared with me that Bob Parson's, the founder of GoDaddy, paid $350,000 to have lunch with Don Trump. I say, RIGHT ON!!! That lunch could be worth millions in his future. Not just that, the $350,000 is a powerful contribution to the Parkinson Center - helping thousands of people suffering with this debilitating disease. It's great to know the abundance you create can flow to help so many people. And, thank you to Don Trump for donating your time. Isn't it great to know that your time is the most precious thing you have to offer! What an accomplishment in life.

This is how enterpreneurs think. Some people are probably thinking, "HOLY COW...$350,000. That's too much". But enterpreneurs don't look at the price tag, they look at the value. What effect will this decision, this purchase, this risk have on my future. Go Bob Parsons - what a visionary!

I find it ironic that these 2 men are my favorite two men to follow in business. I read each of their blogs almost everyday. I don't know if it's actually them writing it, but on the chance it is, I devour every word. Being coachable and learning from successful people is priceless...it's the difference between making millions and barely making it.

Thanks Bob for making the bid. I don't know if you'll ever know how inspirational it is. Next year, I'll be there...I've already requested my tickets! And, I'm intending to be in a position to be able to play at that level.
